The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Maldives, Abdulla Shahid has sent a congratulatory message to the State Councilor and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, Mr. Wang Yi on his appointment to the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“The Government and the people of Maldives join me in conveying our warm congratulations and best wishes on your appointment as a member of the 20th Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China during the recently held National Congress.
I am confident that under your able leadership, we will continue to enjoy excellent bilateral ties between our two countries. I look forward to elevating our future cooperation, and to further strengthen the bonds of friendship between the Maldives and China.
